Hargeisa central church

Post by Futurist »

Mashallah.I was pleasantly surprised by the opening of this church. Somaliland is a lot more progressive, cosmopolitan and forward looking than I thought.

We live in western countries and are able to practice our religion freely, build mosques and wear islamic clothing. It is only fair and just that we allow them these same freedoms when they are in our country. Anything else would be hypocrisy/munaafiqnimo of the highest order.

We must protect our minorities.

The government should consider 24/7 armed guards surrounding the church to protect these minorities. In the same way that armed police protect mosques in France for example.

Futurist rageedi ba tahay.

Couldn't have agreed more but they should have added a better structure than this to Hargeisa.

What we don't endorse is going around misleading the illiterate population. That we don't tolerate so the church must keep away from spreading things.

does everything has to be.... 'the way the french/west protect mosques'? I see what you mean but sl is not france and there aren't millions of Christians living in sl.

Let things take their natural course and stop been alarmist.

Are you kidding me!

If someone gives you $100, you don't have to give him $100; it is solely your decision to return the favor.

Now, the West chose to be open to non-christian religions; and mind you they didn't do this for us. They did this absolutely for themselves!

Maashaallah kulaha aaar niyo ma nacdal baa kugu dhacdey?!!! How can you be happy about an institution set up to lead the peoples of a Muslim nation into kufr and eternal damnation???? ALLAAHU MANIJINAA MIN QOOMUL-DHAALIMIIN!

So what if there are mosques in western countries! .... I will support churches in Muslim countries when Muslim nations like Iran, Syria, Sudan, Algeria, Afghanistan, Somaliland and all Muslim nations are allowed to build possess nuclear bombs and chemical weapons and all other weapons of mass destructions.

What is hypocritical/munaafiqnimo is allowing rogue states like Israel to possess nuclear weapons but crying like bitches about the prospects of The Islamic Republic of Iran having one.
And the thing that is worse than a hypocrite is a dhabodhilif hypocrite who booty clapps for forces that are detrimental to his own people's way of life!!!!

OP your opinion or that of anyone else on this matter of kufaar institutions in Hargeisa is not worth a beeysteen aka shit. Whether you or anyone else supports a church in somaliland or not is inconsequential. What is irrefutable (oo ah xiniinyaha Jemuuriyada) is The Constitution of the Republic of Somaliland and what it says about matters of religion.
FYI! This is what the constitution of The Republic says:

Article 5: Religion

1. Islam is the religion of the Somaliland state[12], and the promotion[13] of any religion in the territory of Somaliland, other than Islam, is prohibited.

2. The laws of the nation shall be grounded[14] on and shall not be contrary to Islamic Sharia.

3. The state shall promote religious tenets (religious affairs) and shall fulfil Sharia principles and discourage immoral acts and reprehensible behaviour[15].

[13] This prohibition covers prostelysing and any public advancement or possibly even public manifestation of another religion.

Therefore, if it is true that a church had been built in Hargeisa or anywhere else in somaliland it must be bulldozed and raised to the ground immediately (preferably with a massive implosion) or else The Constitution is no more, devoid, DEAD and with it the country.
There is NO Somaliland if any other belief system manifests in the territories of Somaliland.

What about your own? no mention of them? If I could remember correctly your constitution has your testicles on a very short leash on religious freedoms.....

Istakhfurallah youre taking my words out of context. Its good that SL is a tolerant, progressive is what I meant, hence the mashallah. The church is a place of worship for christian aid workers and tourists mainly. They are not allowed to propegate their religion.
