I knew someone would say that frankly I expected Liquid anyways yeah it might be true its unprofessional for a president to show up for such thing however considering the fact that it happened in SL which is a big step for them and I really dont mind the president being there

appreciate the progress

UNIVERSITY Teaching Hospital Galkacyo (UTHG) founded in 1935 is a 500 Bed Public funded non-profit making General Referral University Teaching Hospital located in Galkacyo in the central area of Somali Peninsula; due to its geographical catchment and relatively highly specialized health care professionals in selected disciplines.
It caters Health Care delivery services to Puntland State regions and the entire Somali Speaking Peninsula. This has prompted high number of patients that has extended the already contracte available resources.

As one may be aware of a civil war broke out in Somalia in early 1990s that brought the collapse of all public institutions including the UTHG. Thanks to the neo-leadership of Puntland state Health sector and generous community donations in particular from business communities, Plus International organizations as well as governments, the UTHG has been under extensive program of rehabilitation that brought its status to an acceptable level to deliver health care services.

Currently, the hospital clinical services are running quite well and monthly about 25.000 to 30.000 patients receive heath care in its various departments.

Of illness and injuries some of which may be life-threatening and requires immediate attention and for that reason we must be careful to prepare all medical facilities, equipment and nursing specialists before anew accident

clash occurs but you may be all aware of, the available resource (hospital medicines, human resources, funding etc) of the hospital is very limited and needs assistance and help from all stakeholders involving humanitarian aids and healthy sector, the hospital normally operates daily and our staff is committed to work extra hours for catering and satisfying the healthy services of our people.

Having said, as one can note, we are lacking completely equally important departments in both medical & surgical pathologies as Proper General Surgeons, etc.
