The problem isn't defeating the with full combat, the problem is the land, eastern parts of pl has bad road access, that's why the ppl that live there are very isolated and keep to themselves, recourse wise it's ok due to access to a plenty full marine/seafood Ånd ect but logistically the area is too big to fully secure not to mention the terian and mountains.
In the long run these rats will be cleansed, but pl seriously needs to turn focus on these area and roads are the first and most important because without the right infrastructure in place the area is very fragile.

Niyo surely you realise the Puntilanders are faking it.
They need a bit of cash, hence why "ISIS" has appeared in Qandala which is like 20 KM from Bosaso.
They are hoping cash, aid and other trinkets will come.

I see no threat in puntland. In fact Somaliland' s animosity towards puntland is created to appease the SSC or Khaatumo or whatever outfit they wear nowadays. Fact is puntland politics and much of their energy is directed south. Instead of isaaq appeasing the Afweyne spies and snitches in Soon we should be realistic and slap the dhulos conspicuously within sugar coating or hiding behind puntland.
