All I see are half trained Iraqi soldiers and militias no better than your average Somali militia, driving around in humveews death traps.
The world is watching So they have to avoid civilian casualties.
This is not falujah where the only media were inbedded and Western.
Basically they cannot go apeshit and level entire city blocks and kill Everyman women, child cat or dog.
Elite Iranian paramilitaries are not involved, only inexperienced ones and they are small in number because the Iraniana are frightened of "accidental" airstrikes by Americans.
Iranians will send their best forces only where they are covered by Russians.

If you want mosul to fall faster either remove all American involvement or massively increase the number of us forces.
In the first case Iranians can deploy enough troops without worries.
Second case, all you need is one major ambush and sufficient American casualties and then the Americans will behave like they always do when surprised.
Blow everything up, and to he'll with the consequences.

What a fool you are gurey, the entire Coalition of the willing are involved in this fight. Shia paramilitary troops have only beem restricted from entering homes door by door but are still very much involved in combat operations!
Do you folks expect Iranian Hezbollah not to be involved? They very much are and are essentially directing the fight from above
As for Aleppo FAH, if reducing East Aleppo to rubble and bombing it to smithereens is your ideal victory then take it. Assad lifeline is in Moscow, who unfortunately show no respect for human life, now that Emporer Putin has installed Trump there will be no one to stop hm save God. He will be defeated inshallah

Re: Mosul capture has failed IS still control says British
In my opinion the battle for mosul is moving faster than I expected.
I am surprised that most of the fighting is done by millititas with Western airsupport.
Iranian hezbollah presence is minimal for reasons stated above.
Isis has reached its expiry date and what's really important for the US is raqqa or at least the region West of Iraq.
The only play the US has is a Sunni state that stradels the border between Iraq Syria.
After Isis is defeat they wish to give Isis a makeover and then they can fully support it and use it as a base to continue stirring the pot in Syria.
The coalition airforce is there to keep the Iranians in line and stop them from interfering.
The Shia militia are there to do the Fighting and dying for the US.
Ofcourse everyone has their own agenda.
For iran this scenario is good because it helps increase influence over Iraq.
The Iranian backed militia get training equipment and the US helps pickup the tab.
They are more interested in northern Syria and this is the destination of most of what forces they can spare.
And this is where the war is decided, not in Iraq.
So grandpa don't stress too much, your master the US will not let you down, he will try very hard to create a daesh 2.0. If you hurry and get yourself there you can enjoy raping Kurdish teenage girls, and mayhem and destruction for a few more years.

Are you dumb or has been the Zoroastrian propaganda machine been that shit lately? From 2006 -2011 we were hearing the same tidbits and soundbites until the spectacular military enslaught of just 800 men shocked the world..
But back then Sunni mercenaries funded by US defeated them now its only Shia which already committed massacres in Tikrit, Biij and Fallujah.
I expect more and more matches being thrown in the tinderbox. I expect the next Sunni backlash will be so massive it will capture Bagdhdad and Tehran

daesh is crumbling and are resorting to suicide bombings in places like ramadi where their forces are stranded.
even if it takes them months, the iraqi army will nonetheless capture mosul and there will be no daesh revival. they're finished.
also, in regards to syria after aleppo is fully cleaned up, the next stop is idlib where russian and syrian airstrikes are already softening up idlib + its countryside. the jig is up.

East Aleppo civilians fled to government areas
Rebels shot at civilians
I'm looking at tweets and even western mainstream media has reported this
Plus, East Aleppo didn't have 250k as the rebels and UN claimed
It was more like 40,000

Re: Mosul capture has failed IS still control says British
Yeah that's a bit inaccurate.
The SAA was majority Sunni 5 years ago, they are a minority today.
There are allot of Sunni militias but they are locally based and defend thier neighbourhoods.
Basically the government armed anyone that did not join the rebels and told to defend their neighborhoods.
But as of 2012 Sunnis are only a minority of the main government forces.
