The government does not give weapons to the military. Clans and individuals deliver bring their own weapons in exchange of salaries. In Somaliland the army is an open field for employment, all you have to do is to bring AK 47 with you, you get ID card, uniform, 6 months training and salary. The government provides Technical vehicles to Some important Camps .

By the way this guy tusbaxle has been working with the army more than 10 years , he was dismissed 3 years ago for corruption. This is an old news it's filmed 2 and half years ago. http://www.puntlandtoday.com/gaadiid-da ... awirrocod/
