Am I crazy? I have no memory of the actual abuse , but i am triggered sometimes and have this overwhelming conclusion in my brain. Do you think it is possible to repress memories and forget childhood trauma? Am i creating a false memory? I recently have been googling a lot about childhood trauma and even read a checklist discussing symptoms. Almost all of the stuff applied to my life. From depression to suicidal thoughts to sexuality at a young age to lack of care about yourself to deviant sexual desires to no recollection of childhood. As a child i would sit by myself upstairs in lala land while my family bonded together. I have this suspicion of someone in my family, someone i have feared and loathed my whole life. But for fear of wrongly accusing them, i stay silent. I am in a lot of agony and feel helpless. How do i remember or how can I forget completely?

My advice to you is to let bygones be bygones, assuming the person you suspect did it, accusing that person and creating fitnah shock and problems for your family is not worth it, its not going to solve anything. For now, you have no evidence for anything, dont dig out what you've already forgotten (assuming it happened), read Quran and make a lot of dua and ask Allah to heal you from whatever your suffering from, for verily Allah can heal all pain and all sicknesses.

Bad Action

I think u have confessed of your childhood molestation here in Somalinet many years ago. You shared with us that --the family friend wadaad molested u and is still close to the family. It is natural to want to suppress the memories, but u need to seek proper help huuno. Good luck.

If you don't recollect anything happening to you, as in someone touching you inappropriately or anything like that, then you're more than likely creating something that doesn't exist out of thin air. If you still get the depression and suicidal thoughts, then as someone else suggested, get professional help.
