Russia and Turkey declare ceasefire in Syria; Peace talks to begin in Kazakhstan

Ceasefire does not apply to Jabhat Fatah Al Sham, ISIS and Kurds...
Turkey has gathered moderate opposition to talk with Russian diplomats in Turkey. But these groups don't have the power of Ahrar Al Sham and JFS

The ceasefire isn't going to hold. Both sides support different objectives and goals.
Turkey wants Assad gone. Putin wants Assad to stay. There is no love lost between the two. Turkey shot down Putin's plane and just recently, a Russian Ambassador was made 'good' by a Turkish Police officer.
I don't see this ending in a peaceful way. If Putin had targeted ISIS and the Islamists, I would have supported him. But he goes after rebels and got involved in a 'civil war to suport' one side against the other.

They're fighting rebels who Al Qaeda has become the biggest force.GAMES wrote:The ceasefire isn't going to hold. Both sides support different objectives and goals.

Russian Air Force has also targeted ISIS near Palmyra, Deir Ezzor and Raqqa though it is only 20% of the strikes.
Also Turkey and Russia are cooperating much more closely and this conflict has been their only big divergence but they share many common interests and economic integration.
This ceasefire basically means that the SAA will move to retake Idlib. Turkey with its FSA militias keep fighting Kurds.

LoL Palmyra got retaken by ISIS and 20% air strikes isn't good enough sxb.FAH1223 wrote:They're fighting rebels who Al Qaeda has become the biggest force.GAMES wrote:The ceasefire isn't going to hold. Both sides support different objectives and goals.

Obama is to blame for all of this. He has no balls to solve what's going on in the middle east. But I think Trump would be worse, because he has no plans.
Turkey has ONE objection and that's to see Assad gone and no 'ictiraaf' Kurds curving up a state.
Putin has miscalculated and would soon pay for it. Russia is always in the wrong side of history and makes piss poor decisions.
Re: Russia and Turkey declare ceasefire in Syria; Peace talks to begin in Kazakhstan
Erdogan doing his usual backstabbing. He has ordered these groups to abandon their positions in Aleppo. This is how Muslims in Aleppo got massacred and eventually got evicted. He is attacking Raqqah, Al- Bab, and th rest of Northern Syria. His next betrayal is to get these groups on the side of Assad and his Allied Rawaafidh militia against JFS. His claim of attacking Kurds in Syria is also a smokescreen. His real war is against Muslims in Shaam.
Insha'Allaah his mischievous attempts of constantly dividing Muslims in Shaam will catch up him and the economy of his country will be ruined to the point where Turkish people will eventually get rid of him.

The criminal Erdogan has revealed his true face long ago, he always has shown to be a very poor ally for the poor Syrian majority Sunnis. He colludes with every enemy whether America or russia or Peshmerga. I hope he is overthrown very soon by the god fearing Turks

Too many braindead people in these pages. How do I respond to your dumb question? Perhaps those chemicals in those battles have destroyed your braincells.GAMES wrote:Su'aal, why do u support terrorists? GAMES, are you in and out of prison? Or perhaps you're in a rehab

p.s., I support and pray for my fellow Muslims, and not a particular group.
