Hargeisa's emerging modern food culture

I reckon Hargeisa would get massive influx and consistent tourism if it can:

A) resolve the water issues

B) invest in solar energy

C) become the international food destination in the region by inviting leading hospitality groups from Ethiopia (Ethio food is very popular in Hargeisa), Kenya, Uganda (should be affiliated with Amina's resorts/apartments), Sudan, Turkey, and reer Xamar should be given special entry (cadcadka).

With more trees and better roads/infrastructure it could become a charming city nuzzled between mountains.

The dry river should be restored. It is possible.

Music and food go together.

That's what I mean when I was talking about totalitarianism and capitalism market.

Somalis have strength in private industry but not democracy in public avenue.

That has to go.

We need a system slightly bit more friendly than China's. Even Iran will soon speed up its development by employing the Chinese method.
Meet Chiran

Iran could follow the Chinese model to become a regional economic power

Et has already put the Chinese model in motion.

A coup is must but one that leaves the private sector.

Yeah Wallahi I don't understand why these grown people at the helm can't rub their two brain cells together to just think of positive impact it would have if they just do one public project once in a while . How hard is it to build a 5 KM Airport road? Ffs we have had about 2 decades to do it.

I went to hamdi restaurant in Dahabshill mall, 2 weeks ago. I hate restaurants without ready menu on their table . The waiter just asked me "walaal maxaan kuu Keenaa " I said nigger how do I know what you offer bring your phuking menu first. He did and picked the most expensive meal on their menu it was fish with coconut something sauce and a glass of orange. To be honest I didn't like that meal, terrible, it was nothing like I expected, I paid 15 dollars and they didn't even gave me a glass of water. But I think hargeisa looks stunning from their spot so I spent my whole time watching hargeisa like an eager tourist wannabe .

If you want entertainment in Hargeisa, go to Hiddo dhowr, who on earth can't enjoy the beautiful veteran sahra halgan and her crew singing live on stage.

If you want to see what it feels like to be an elite in Somaliland go to the heavily guided ambassador, and don't forget to befreind the army they made me like a hersi gaab in action . Kkkk

I love to experience every thing. Some times I want to see how those who have money lives , other times I go to the saraabida sit with the women buy fresh beer breakfast and hot laxoox just lifted from the pan . You know what? I really feel enjoyed when I eat in sariibada than hamdi or ambassador . Our poor people are so funny and very happy every time, big hotels and restaurants are full of depressed people and busy officials.

Can you believe gabadh aan maqaaxideda fadhiisto oo aan u yar sheekeeyo baa waxay igu noqotay gabadhii ay inaderkay kala tageen beri hore. Yadu waxay ka timi maqrib anna mashriq maanaa filayey ba. Waxaasi waa hadal badnida dalkeena saacad hadaad wada sheekaysataan judhiiba idinkoo isasoo galgalay baad arkaysaa oo information waalan is dhaafsaday .

$15 for a meal? My god I am in Canada and I remember when a particular good somali restaurant raised their meals from $12 to 14 and people stopped eating there.

I don't like fancy resturan what I like though is street food. A big city like hargaysa should have street food scenes . The poor can make money by been innovative in street food and stay open late , what we need is a bit of government or NGO hand give these people electricity, a stove or a grill and a spot and let every person have it for 10 days and the poor will make money. Who wants to sit in these fancy restaurants unless you are a show off person.

Sounds nice
But I wouldn't trust them for hygiene reasons.

Hygiene is a general issue for all street food it comes with its own value once people finds out you are dirty your business is finished also once word go around you are a clean freak that also has its own value and makes you money.

The isaaq in SL are so much flushed with US $ that they creat this disease they dubbed sixir, barar . That kind of inflation is due to too much dollars $3 coffee in hargaysa! Wtf but dad laga masruufo qurbaa would pay that much for a coffee. That kind of inflation is due to foreign currency , look at Ethiopia if you get caught using or exchanging dollars you are fucked. We could solve this shut they call sixir barar easily.

This is why I send my cousins little by little every week instead of one big transfer at the end of the month. Instead of sending hundreds that they will blow within a few days, give them a weekly allowance of $10-20 and see how far they'll stretch it.
