This is already happening. There are a lot of non Isaaq tourists. The ones I've seen are mainly Darood. Some Daroods specialty Warsengelu and Dhulbahante use Hargeisa as a transit place. They change flights or take a car to their towns. So a lot of them especially those with children tend to stay in hargeisa for a bit, sometimes at the beginning, but usually at the end. The reason being Hargeisa is a big city and they can find everything there, and cover their children's needs.

There are also a lot of MJ and Ogaden tourists. The other southerners sounded all the same to me. But I know a lot of Hawiye from my neighbourhood that go there.

There should be more money spent to improve this sector. Gated community is 1 good idea, more guest houses. All so there should be safari tours. Mountain tours daalo, sheikh and gacan libaax. Farm tours, miyi tours...

A wanlaweyn freind of mine just called me from hargeisa, he just married they want see berbera. I am gonna arrange tartiib for them. Toyota vitz taxis is called tartiib here in berbera. To roam around the clean city of berbera, batalaale and my be biyo kulule steams. I agree with Ras Hawdian our country needs more wanlaweyn tourists than whites. Every citizen can participate this process , by welcoming those people, giving them advices about food, hotels, places to visit iwm. Especially we have to promote berbera in every possible way. Hargeisa is already exaggerated .

Hawdi, Somaliland dakeeda ba ku filan . last time i was in JSL , we had a few hawiyes in the hodheel they we shitting themself of fear wating for the flight to gaal,kacyo , and the helpfull guy i was I reported them to sirdoonka, kkkkkkkk .
