Two/three months is enough to make the election during the rainy lush season ( may-june 2017) , but thats not what they are seeking they want an extension between 6 months and a year which would extend the election to the next dry season . So their aim is political it has nothing to do with the draught.

There will be no electiom and their shouldnt be one while people are dying. Even if the rains do come on time people still need time to recover from the loses they have suffered as a result of the drought.
People have lost all of the life stock and have been left destitute. Do you people think that when the rain comes that lifestock will grow out of the ground like the plants.

Believe me if the drought was happening in the west Muuse would not be calling for an election. He is just using the drought to his advantage because he knows that the majority of the HY has been displaced by the drought.
