Yes but how can u tell? In lasanod we have try a ar but we can't tell them apart from our own folks yet people can differentiate a somali and a midgaan. In Australia,HashIII wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2017 5:16 am If I am not mistaken midgaan is the offensive name and they identify as madhibaans.
There is the infamous story of how their ancestor ate a bakhti and it is used as a reason for their I'll treatment. When you think about it it's just really retarded. Very very retarded. Punishing a people for their ancestor.
I think the story is just a stupid myth. I am sure their ancestors were just bullied. The treatment of madhibaans is something I can't understand. These people are the same ethnic group as us yet they are socially outcast and stigmatized. The mistreatment of the bantus although wrong is understandable, however the mistreatment of the madhibaan is not.
Just like how cant tell by looking at you that you are dhulbahante. You can't tell that they are madhibaan by looking at them, they look like every other somali. The only way you could tell if people tell you. When my parents where constructing their house in som we went to the nearby restaurant. The lady told us that the guys building for us are madhibaans, like it was important information wtf. Some people are weird bro.Dhulbahantking wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2017 5:24 amYes but how can u tell? Midgaans I have seen are far more attractive than your average Somali, very tall, light skin elegant females with very soft hair, super model type looks, heck Somalis look bantus compared to them, its shame history has come to this where they have been mistreated, a great shame, Insha Allah if I ever become president I would actually advocate giving them their own piece of land so they can self rule themselves, did you hear of the idoor police officer back in 2008 or 2009 who shot a Midgaan guy who was on a visit to family from Dubai? typical idoor shot him just because he could, a great shame, at least daroods normally protect the midgaans, the midgaans who live with harti in puntland, the midgaans who live with Absame in kismayo, afmadow and even Ogadeniya Proper are highly protected, heck even hawiyes dont seem to have issues with them, its mainly idoors -may Allah never give the idoors Independence AmeenDhulbahantking wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2017 5:09 am Why are midg aan people seeing as inferior? Wardheer and Gaalkacyo are the boundaries of our land, and consequently there are large populations in both. I have only had the pleasure of visiting puntland, I am yet to visit k5. There isn't really much you can learn about the place online, there are very little resources, I haven't been able to find much really. Neither do I know much about OG sub clans. I hoping to learn more when I visit, ideally in the next 2 years.TeeriReturns wrote: Tue Jan 24, 2017 8:32 amLoool, I know Bicids are minority neighbors of Wardeer who live with Makahil/Maqaabul Ogadens, Just because I am Reer Waamo OG (Kismayo) don't mean I dont know about Ogadeniya my ancestors left 8 generations ago, we know bicidyans very well but then again i had no idea they also live in mudug/galkaciyo, i assumed its only sacads and omar mohamuds who live there, horta has the war stopped in that city or still ragging? sadly i have become allergic to reading somali BS news websitesHashIII wrote: Mon Jan 23, 2017 11:30 amReer Bicidyahan MJ. I have been told that they are very attractive. Teeri, I heard that these midgaans have had a sort of alliances with some Darood sub clans. They join in them in clan wars and are protected when they in wars themselves. Have you heard this before?TeeriReturns wrote: Tue Jan 24, 2017 8:39 amMidgaans I have seen are far more attractive than your average Somali, very tall, light skin elegant females with very soft hair, super model type looks, heck Somalis look bantus compared to them, its shame history has come to this where they have been mistreated, a great shame, Insha Allah if I ever become president I would actually advocate giving them their own piece of land so they can self rule themselves, did you hear of the idoor police officer back in 2008 or 2009 who shot a Midgaan guy who was on a visit to family from Dubai? typical idoor shot him just because he could, a great shame, at least daroods normally protect the midgaans, the midgaans who live with harti in puntland, the midgaans who live with Absame in kismayo, afmadow and even Ogadeniya Proper are highly protected, heck even hawiyes dont seem to have issues with them, its mainly idoors -may Allah never give the idoors Independence AmeenDhulbahantking wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2017 5:09 am Why are midg aan people seeing as inferior? In Gaalkacyo Reer Bicidyahans make up most of the army, we had a lot of casualties in the last skirmishes. We hold the title of being the warriors of Majerteen. Even the name Gaalkacyo comes from the name Gaalaeri (largest sub clan of bicidyahan). We have a large presence there.
The Somali media is truly cancerous. There is very little fact checking, and rumours are just plastered all over these news websites. Lol, I remember when some guy in Mogdishu spoke to BBC Somali (i think it was them) and pretended to be some PSF commander lmao. The skirmshes ended a while back but I am not sure of the climate back in Gaalkacyo.
So your from Jubbaland? What can you tell me about General Darwiish and his militia that he has? Do you have any idea how many Reer Bicidyahans live in Kismaayo, i know some of us live there?
Why are you offended I claimed wardheer? We do live there in large numbers. Even the abtirsi.com site says so, even though it is rather blogish. It is well known. I hope I haven't offended you. I hope you can answer my questions.
