First 100 days of farmaajo rule

Post by Nomand »

The first 100 days of farmaajo rule will be the most important time iof his presidency.

Challenges to overcome

1) picking PM that is loyal and share the same vision.
2) first steps on re building the army and police force
3) how he deals with the federal states and the ruffians up north.
4) how he opens Somalia for the world to invest in

I agree with you..

The most important thing is a loyal anti corrupt pm.

And he needs to change the constitution and change presidency to 10 years per term.

All hail farmaajo

That's dictatorship not democracy. Look where that got us..

If he does all that plus removes amisom, starts rebuilding the infrastructure and improves education. However miniscule those improvements are, he will be re-elected again

I understand farmaajo is an idealist but unfortunately we are a society that suffers from severe qabyaalad with no cure in sight. He should keep that in mind with his picks. We can't take 10 steps forward but there's hope that we can take 2.

If he is smart, he will learn from the mistakes of others and not let qabyalad influence his decisions. This is a tall task for any Somali leader. That being said, he has a clear mandate from all Somalis. I've never seen this much enthusiasm for a Somali politician.

I'd like to also see Somalia move to party politics and move to one person one vote system, that's one way to remove qabayalad from Politics or at the very least camouflage qabiil politics as they do in Somaliland.

Qabyalad will always be part of Somali politics even if you and i disliked it. I don't think Somalis are being totally honest when they say that they are tired of Qabyalad. when any cabinet is announced, first thing people look for is their respective clans share.
