First let me invite TheFuturist to present us with his map showing all the water channels in Somaliland during rain seasons. Ramzey was another expert in that field but I wonder where he is.

We need to dam the Nugaal water body after Jaleelo, Xumboweyne/Humboweyne and Geed-deble.

It will store about 500,000 cubic meters of water.

If we can dam the Nugaal body of waters in two dams one near Xood and the other near Gar-adaag. The Nugaal valley gets much of its water from the Gollis ranges and the highlands of Sanaag. So we should dam it before it drains out via Puntland region.

Actually the Nugaal drains from the south/Oogo, west Togdheer, far north Cerigaabo/Cal Madow and middle north Xudun/Talex districts.

It's fed by Togdheer river and drains out into the Indian Ocean from Eyl Puntland.

That's why we need to dam it and keep the water in SL.

We need to act fast on this.
We have enough water issues as it is, our capital has not enough water, we suffer from a drought every year if not 2. We need to stop the talking and deliver.

By 2020 the should be no water related issues in Somaliland.

Nugaal is a natural reservoir.......it sits in a depression and can be damned on a huge scale.
