At least two Somaliland soldiers have been killed in Kalabaydh, South of Lasanod, by Khaatumo civilians after they raiderd the town and killed a number of Dhulbahante civilians. The bodies of the soldiers are still lying in the streets of Kalabaydh. The local civilians are now regrouping to to repel any further attacks by the Somaliland tribal militia.

While Khaatumo leaders are hobnobbing with the iiddoor leaders, this is what is happening to their people. Iiddoor are the biggest enemy of Dhulbahante. No sane Dhulbahante will ever want to be part of Somaliland. Dhulbahante will always support the unity of Somalia and all Somalis.

It's tragic that Dhulbahante can kill a hundred people in intertribal feuds but cannot kill 14 iiddors who attack their towns.. This was the rough number of iiddor soldiers who attacked Kalabaydh.

Today dhulbahnte are not yesterday dhulbahnte. The real ones were wiped out by the British. What you have left are the ones that stayed with women.

Somaliland army are one of the most duciplined armies in Africa, they never targeted innocent people, they fight against armed men. In fact they were doing peacekeeping missions in that area since June last year to preserve the blood of bahrarsame and qayaad communities. The army is not enemy they are professional Patriots who are working for the security of their people, even peaceful dhuloos Unionist have nothing against the army. I am sure this incident is related to qayaad and bahrarsame conflict it has nothing to do with Somaliland and isaaq.
