South Somalia diaspora are much more effective in their investment in Mogadishu. They've started countless businesses, factories, think tanks, charities etc. SL diaspora are very lazy. We need to do more!

These things you have listed are safe businesses.
The investors make their money back within a year. It's a safe bet. SL people are not very businesslike.
Look at the ones in the UK.

Where I live in east London there are 2 Somali restaurant. And 1 tea shop. And it's estimated that there is 10,000 Somalis. 90% landers.
Where as in other areas dominated by southerners, there is way more business. That doesn't mean they have a larger Somali population, in fact it's the other way around. They are more business savvy.

The government should nationalize qaat trade and tax it hard and use the hard currency to creat jobs and build the nation.

This is true. Machallah Mogadishu has done in 5 years what Somaliland couldn't do in 25 years! Reer Mogadishu are much harder workers, but politicians are corrupt. Somaliland politicians are honest, but people are lazy.
