first time in Somaliland

Waryaa! I have finally made it to Somaliland for the first time ever. I'm only half Somali (mother side). But I know nothing of this part of me. Don't know the food, language, or anything. So, I thought I'd post a topic and see where it goes as I explore here for a while(a week or so).

First, the food. I went to Somaliland restaurant yesterday and it was quite good. Then had tea at the place next door. I would like to try camel meat and milk but am not sure where the best place is to find it. Yesterday someone told me you can only get camel in the morning from 9-12. I was expecting and hoping to see a ton of camels but there little to none in Hargeisa. :(

1. Can you recommend the best Somali food dishes I should try and the best restaurants to eat them at here in Hargeisa please?

Second, on my way here, two girls gave me their phone number and from the attention they gave me I think they would like to become my girlfriend while I am here. I'm ok with that and it sounds like fun. I just would like to know if I could invite them to my room? I do not to break any local laws and I understand that in some Islamic countries this is not allowed while others such as Bangladesh etc are more modern and have a relaxed atmosphere and understanding attitude towards this.

2. Where can I see camels?

3. Any things that I can get involved in that have other young adults like myself eager to meet other young people? I'm learning Somali with my cousin and friend online slowly.

Thank you.
