They get the capital city
We embrace their political party systems.
The thing with me is I actually admire Somali land and how hard these people would work to make their 'country' to get some sort of recognition. However I condemn their secessionist ideals. They should set up a template in which the rest can follow and be a role model for the rest of Somali. Sometimes I actuallysympathize with them and feel as if they deserve to have their own country but then again I am afraid things may not work with the whole habar habar rivalry. The thing is with Somali land case is people are united for a common cause of achieving recognitioncommon goals unites people.

Somaliland is gone. If you think we are putting up a facade if seeking international recognition whilst secretly hoping to get the capital city of Zoomalia then you are not paying attention.
70%+ of people living in Somaliland today have no frame of reference other than the Republic. There is no going back.
In 1991 when your garaads came to Burco they were overwhelmed by the will of the people to reclaim their independence. Neither the SNM central command nor your garaads dared oppose the people then. This was 26 years ago. You can only imagine the zeal with which this generation believes in Somaliland. We have actually not experienced this Somali Republic you speak of.

How about No. The thing is, us "nation of saadat" unlike other Somalis see through your fake nationalism. Just yesterday y'all were shouting "xaarmajo ii geeya!" And now when y'all are dissatisfied with his selection of government here you go with "Viva SL" "northern zoomalis" ....n shit.
SL is here to stay

Ictiraaf is just means to an end goal, development.
It is not necessary for development, as attested to by the last two deals with the UAE (Xamar port went for $80m when Berbera was leased for $500m), the oil exploration ongoing atm in Togdheer and Saraar by the world's largest petroleum company, the massive infrastructure projects including the dam at Xumbaweyne and 2 other locations. Slowly but surely a picture is forming and there is a clear path to development.
I guarantee you this, we will never be ruled by walaweyn again.

I chuckle when I see topics like these. I mean these people haven't gotten the slightest clue of what we are willing to put up to realize our dream.
I remember Cigaal AUN went to Djbouti to ask some financiall support back in early 90s when 75% of Sl people were still in refugee camps outside of country and his govt wasn't generating enough money to even pay its employees. I remember how mockingly the two reporters were interviewing this great man, pity him at times and he kept his pride despite knowing that he had nothing and his people were still in difficult times. He preserved, Somalilanders preserve and marched on through some of the most difficult times.
It is in our DNA to survive. We are hardy people,
Tough, and determined
Fast forward to today, we have laid the foundations of a nation, we have steady stream of income, we have fully functional govt, and have earned the respect of the IC.
We are at a point where governments I. E Dubia deal with us directly (see the berbera base and Port)
Point is, after 26 years, we are just picking up steam. We are prepared for 1000 years of the status quo if we must. that is our mentality.
Hanagu hab saamina

All the Idoors I know are building their dreams in Xamar. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble. But the ones I know are investing heavily. Even the ones who live in the North are migrating to Xamar.
What that means for Somaliland, you figure it out.

Would that in anyway compromise what I was saying? If I quoted an Idoor saying it, would it validate it, in your eyes?
Ask Gurey, he is Isaaq. He can tell you exactly what I've told you.
Your very insecure. Take it easy, Idoor.

Human beings are only loyal to the person that feeds them. Human psychology 101.
If Greenland offers you food, security and the essentials of survival you will sing the anthem, kiss the flag and get your tin hat out when battle starts.
The day those luxuries are compromised. Loyalty to th 'motherand' goes out the window.
Just ask the European Americans what allegiance they have to continental Europe.
