Love this verse very much a friend of mine uses this verse all the times.. something sweet about it .. it does not sound as sweet in english i must say == > Join walaliyaal kheyka lila soo Gala ------>

27:19 So he smiled, amused at her speech; and he said: "O my Lord! so order me that I may be grateful for Thy favours, which thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may work the righteousness that will please Thee: And admit me, by Thy Grace, to the ranks of Thy righteous Servants."

Qafir (40) verse 7


الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُـلَّ شَىْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْماً فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُواْ وَاتَّبَعُواْ سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ




Those (angels) who bear the Throne (of Allah) and those around it glorify the praises of their Lord, and believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for those who believe (saying): "Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your way, and save them from the torment of the blazing Fire!)

The Quran is trully marvellous book in its entirety. I do surely regrett not committing it to memory although I could and still can.

My best verses are in suratu nisaa. One goes something like this: "arrijaalu qawaamuuna calannisaa'...."

and this other one that goes like "... muthnaa wathulaatha wa rubaac..."

You get the picture.

^^he has finally his true colors. Your problem isn't with Muslims but rather with women in politics. And here i thought he was the "modern" american!

My favorite verse in the Qur'an is the one the Christians hate the most : "Lam Yalid walam Yuulad" --From Al-Ikhlaas. It means in English "He does not beget, nor was he Begotten".

I did NOT interpret anything. I posted the verses from the Quran like you asked. I leave the interpretation to YOU. Maybe you can help with something.

Can you explain to me the wisdom and practicality behind the Finger-tip chopping verse?

I can understand head chopping, leg chopping, foot chopping, penis tip chopping or reluctanlty clit chopping but I can't for the life me understand what Allah was on when he instructed muslims to chop FINGER-TIPS. Not one but FINGERTIPS, all ten of them.

FINGER-TIPS not fingers or hands.
