i have run ins with the police pretty much every day. somalis in my neighborhood focked up everything. they fear the cops like they're INS Officials or something, and the cops noticed that so just for the fock of it they'll pull you over if you look anything like somali. i've been in this country more than half of my life, i know the law, i know what cops can and cannot do. so these focker cops try to get smart, i get smart with them... i actually tell them to fock off. i ask them more questions than they ask me, they just give up and leave, giving me just a warning. somalis have to understand the law, they should stop fearing the cops, they can't do sh!t to you.

I have been arrested once but I was released and my charges were dropped. Thank god.....

Suga .. I was a lil kid in 88 when i got stopped with my uncle while driving from Galkacyo. The Marexan in charge saw the Ilkocaas and suspected we was USC. After paying them off, we went on our way to Xamar.

Screw, My best summer vacation was when I went on a Safari with some friends of mine who were driving 2 vehicles from South Africa to Nairobi. It was a glorious trip with many adventures and many crooked cops. But being a Somali, I was able to negotiate a bribe here and there.

I remember how traffic cops used to harass vehicles with Somali number plates. It was a challenge driving a Left Hand drive vehicle in continent dominated by Right hand drives. I depended on the person in the shot gun seat to be my co-driver when overtaking.
