Unless you are lucky and you maintain your relationship, you will be rolled over a barrel and fucked by the legal system.

even if you catch your wife in bed with another man and video it, unless you can afford a good lawyer, she will take the kids and the house .
the law in the west is stacked solidly against the man.

being security conscious is good practice,
i have several bank accounts, 3 profiles on my smartphone and i make sure my wife has the password for the account i use often.
even have a joint bank account.

be transparent on one side, but have several layers.
god forbid if i divorce and my wife is reading this post, and hires a private investigator, and has the courts sieze my assets,
she will just get less than 1/3.

just organize everything and compartmentalize, then you can forget about it, and live a carefree existance,
when shit hits the fan you will be up and running.
