Why do people support war criminal like tuke

Post by SuldaanOfSanaag »

I watch a documentary about siad barra generals on YouTube, A Canadian reporter from CBC was doing the investigation on them and on one part he was coming across people objecting to his investigation from supporters of tuke and others , I gathered they are his tol, but with this I see them been hypercritical becos one hand they saying we are pro unionist and we wish Somaliland to join Somalia on the other hand they denying the war crimes committed against them. Please explain this people

I have read somewhere that Somali's way of living has not changed a dew sens a long tong time ago. Back in the days a hero was the evil careless idiot man who took the lives of other klansmen and who was feared. Then came something called state system and without understanding this system was adopted. But we have still exakt the same mindset as when we were nomad or didnt have state system.

The president such as Siyad Barre or any other man for the part who had the power in the name of people was betrayed as the hero of his clans. Becous the clan now has something to be proud of, they have a hero to boast about. they dont care about anything as long as he kills others and as long as the clan is feared. Now the old customs and state system are still wrecking. That is why the Somalis have 4.5. That's why each clan warrants to get important possessions every time there is election. And therefore the perpetrators who have committed crimes against humanity are protected because their clans see them as heroes.

National hero who did his duty for his country. Indeed very honorable man. I would give him position in the current gov.

Anyone who eliminates traitors are good in my book.

Exactly my point...it's the reason you don't talk about it...cause you can't remember their name....cajiib

1. It means it didn't happen or 2. It did happen and you don't give a shit enough to remember the ones that killed your people which is even worse.

Not denying the mudug massacre or bowling green massacre I'm sure it happened...It's kinda odd you can't name the perpetrators. Two iidoors did it but i can't remember their name. Sounds legit

Dont take this forum too seriously, the online Somali community is the worse I've ever seen. All war criminals should be executed whether they are from my kin (tuke) or yours.
