Well inder the whole point of the DP-berbera investment is to attract Ethiopia to import and export from berbera and DP world gave up 19% of it's share to Ethiopia to insure that.

I understand if SL gave away some of its share to Ethiopia to lure them away from Djibouti, but whats in it for the DP world? they already own Djibouti port and won't start competing with themselves.

There may ba trouble a head you give them a platform now but at the end they may claim the whole place as they are a nation without port you do busines with people and outsiders but you dont sell away Hantida ma guurtada ah
Jabouti has been doing busines with Ethiopia long time but they dont hand away public property to the Ethiopians nor the Arabs.

There may be trouble a head
Give them a platform and would claim whole place in long run
Doing busines and signing away public property is two different thing
Jabouti done bis with Ethiopia many years but did not sign away Hantida ma guurtada ah to Ethiopia nor the Arabs.

It is not 19%. It is 19% of the 65% UAE share which comes to 10.4%.
