BELEDWEYNE, Somalia- Gunmen were reported have killed four civilians in rural village located on the outskirts of Beledweyne town, the regional capital of Hiiraan region on Saturday, Garowe Online reports.

Two mothers and their daughters were killed over inter-clan revenge feud by armed groups who stormed their village in Baar area, which lies about 40 kilometers west of Beledweyne.According to residents, gunmen fled the area after murdering the innocent civilians.

The exact motive behind the attack on the villagers was not immediately clear, however, the local residents said it involved long-standing animosity between rival clans in the region.

There was no immediate response to the incident from the administration of Hiiraan region.

baledweyne is 4 xaafad; 3 hawadle and ine gugundhabe. two east of the river and two west of the river

in west of the river gugundhabe live in hawlwadaag and hawadle in buundowayn

al shabaab are found only on the gaaljecel side behind hawlwadaag on the way to bakool that road divides gaaljecel and jijeele. SNA behind buundowayn like gambarlaawe



we have been trying to host reconciliation between the two of them but al shabaab who backs the gaaljecel, Ethiopia who backs the jijeele and xamar(under garguurte) who is against the unity of reer hiiraan bc of jowhar r/were part of the war
