That last paragraph is interesting and insightful. Do you know a book, or books, that go into detail about that subject? I would like to read that as I have had a sinister view regarding Western banking system for years now, but never tried to study the subject in depth.
I havent read any books on this subject but , its not a conspiracy theory this is fact and out there in the open.
I ran into an old friend in sydney recently , he was an economics professor at my university, i was a comp science major but took some electives. He was reminiscing about how he started his career as a banker fresh from university and then quit banking to do his phd later in life.
He was telling me about his first week as an intern in a bank, they sent him on a training course on this new fangled thing they called derivatives trading. This was 1974 it was around the same time commonwealth bank lost its money issuing powers with a new law.
I found the timing strange a few weeks later i was watching a debate on french telivision and this same subject came up.
Apparently every single western european country introduced that law between 1972 and 1974.
