I would generally say yes.
1) Our culture was intact, and we were living how we lived for thousands of years.
2) The land wasn't degraded, it rained much more/was more wetter and the environment in general was just far more better. Today our land is developing into a desert.
3) Our population was controlled.

What you talking about, prior to colonialism, the Somalis were primitive, backward people who fought, raided and murder each other due to tribalism.

What has changed other then the fact that they're using ak47s and pickup trucks now? Nearly half a million from just one tribe (Raxanweyn) were starved to death.Sharmarke91 wrote: Fri Jul 14, 2017 2:58 am What you talking about, prior to colonialism, the Somalis were primitive, backward people who fought, raided and murder each other due to tribalism.
At least back then, there were some tribal laws and elders to try to minimize violence, but now the elders have no respect.
PS: all nomadic societies from east asia, to the middle east, to north africa to somalia are what you described.

Yes, we now left that dark chapter of our history behind and developed into globally admired and respected functioning modern state.Sharmarke91 wrote: Fri Jul 14, 2017 2:58 am What you talking about, prior to colonialism, the Somalis were primitive, backward people who fought, raided and murder each other due to tribalism.

We were at our best before this abomination called Islam came into our civilization
Deny it all you want but it's the truth. Deep down you know it
After this abomination was introduced our land dried up, it started raining less and less the sky itself was disgusted with us
This abomination is a mental shackle that is on it's way out.
Soon our dry river beds will be full of water and abundance will be upon us but first
this abomination in it's hairy dirty arab face.
