Why do Somalis settle in far right and conservative states in the US?

After the smearing campaign against Somalis over the cop shooting, it got me into thinking why do Somalis live in conservative and far right dominated states - Minnesota, Columbus, Ohio and Georgia whereas West Africans and Ethiopians all live in liberal states. That's why they go unnoticed unlike Somalis who now have tensions with the white conservatives/alt right/republicans off in those states.

I don't think it's about politics for Somalis I'd say it's about the purse, we're much more commies than conservatives.
The cost of living is usually cheaper in Red states than in Blue states. Also Somalis are usually in families so Red states which are more rural offer better housing opportunities in good areas then urban liberal states; add to that the fact they tend to have less crimes, pollution, crowds, hipsters, feminists, etc.. and Red states turn out to be pretty decent places to live.

There are 350K Ethiopians in Washington alone and 96K in L.A but Minnesota-St Paul only has 25K Somalis...
