What happend to the large Somali Middle class community who used to be public workers in the 1980s ?? Our community in the Gulf is gone including Saudi Arabia. They used to be decent well respected people now what you have is some refugges from Mogadishu but a very small community but doing bad things including selling their bodies. There are chinese hookers walking around on the street in front of hotels wtf ??? The UAE used to be family friendly when did this happen ?? And the salaries are not what they used be for western expats the rent is sky high. Too many low class UK tourists running around rip UAE

Inflation, UAE is in war, Taxes started, oil prices dropped. There's many factors. Also the sons who are taking over the country are becoming more secular. Sheekh zayid was actually a serious sufi muslim.

this happened late 90's, by 2001 90% of the somali popultion was gone..

The entire world is going haywire due to downturn economy. That's why Trump is here to make America great again, so that the rest can rise up too! But the with the arabs khaleegis---oil is not the it commodity anymore. Back to camel herding.
