The evolving of Somalinet Basra....

Post by Basra- »

I remember 2 decades ago--I came to Somalinet with such profound naiveté! I mean, its all chronicled here in Somalinet. I mean, I am a study, wrapped in a thesis, wrapped in a study case itself. Those toddlers days, I would come to somalinet, and read forum veterans debate heavy subjects like economy, religions, and politics. I would look at them with a phased sense of cluelessness, and move on to my passion. Literature. From Elizabethan literature, to the Regent England, to Victorian era. Later, with the advent, and online expansion, the rise of Wikipedia, YouTube, and an endless litany of virtual information wrapped in virtual essays, articles, studies etc etc , I find myself -abandoning my cozy, paper back books for key board strokes instead. I was engrossed. I learned, and learned, and learned. Now, literature becomes a figment of my past & childhood imagination. My interests have evolved, and become intensely transformed in a higher stratosphere. My favorite subject now is Politics, Economy, and Religion.

Dacaas say what? U know, sometimes for an intelligent person like yourself, u do deteriorate to retardedness, from your atheism, to your comments like above. lol

Sharmake91

I said I was a toddler when I started somalinet-- proven my naiveté. lol I was in my mid teens. Stll, 30 something is not YOUNG! alhamdhulilaah

Cigaal

You is a cutey, my Lord. (I think. or Lady?) lol

paperino

Yes, like Cilmiile. Is he alive or is he still in somalinet? I think did see him in the forums later but I was not impressed. Either my intellect grew or his stagnated, either he will always be the taker of my online virginity!

xiimaaya :rose:

Barbs

curdetruth

Zidane

u fascinate me. I guess all these years I have been fascinated by you, or obsessed by you. WHY, I don't know walaalo. Maybe its your fantastic translucent avatars. Maybe its your manner of expressing yourself. Maybe its your tom boyishness or how u worry too much. Or your reading spectacles, I mean what? (notice of all the replies-u get sentences rather than lines?) Yep, obsession.

Lodon

I wish my golden years were close so that I can enjoy pension, and a retreat from humanity. But 30 years is a long time to wait if God willing!

Basra is evolving like the rest of us, but she is the most complex and intelligent person on this site, there are only a few topics where she is below average in contribution.
