Qabilism and carabs

Hey guys this will be my first post and I kind of just want to increase my knowledge on certain things about my people.

I have never really indulged in tribalism as i always equated it to monkeys throwing poo at each other but i am seriously curious why people are so extreme about it and what even is the logical factual basis of some of the claims. Do you think its getting less talked about? Do you think its best to wipe the concept of tribes from our people?

That also makes me wonder why a lot of somalis like to claim carabnibo. Seriously, whats the benefit to it? Do arabs even treat you well to begin with? Why do you want to be them so bad even though it makes no sense genetically.

Somalia is one of the more ethnically homogenous african countries. Why are we doing so shit compred to everyone else?

The problem is not the Qabils or the Carabs, the problem is this religion we have been brainwashed with, it is this religion that is the link between the Qabil and the Carab and it's very sad that we can't have an adult conversion about religion in here without name callings. This is the most crucial topic we need to talk about as adults to try to figure out why we are importing a weaponized ideology into Somalia but unfortunately the people who run this site believe like many in here that we should never talk about religion even though this new form of Islam called Wahhabism is a political ideology far from the Islam of the 7th century. We have entered into the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the whole world is moving and passing us quick and many Somalis who call themselves educated or even scientists who were supposed to be the voice of reason have abdicated their reason in favor of this Wahabism from the Middle East and sold their soul and the country for money instead of bringing people together and exposing the lies we've been sold. Until we really address the elephant in the room, no amount of dna data or genetic explanations will matter, people will keep believing their Qabil is related to Carabs because their holy book is Carab.

I get where youre coming from and i wont attack you for your beliefs but to me in an islamic perspective it shouldnt make a single difference if youre somehow possibly from a lineage of people who have a chance to come from the prophet's distant relative... like it makes zero sense to have some pride in that. Not only that but majority muslim countries have not experienced something like this when the 99% of the country is of the same sect, all speak the language, and are majority ethniclly similar... to blame it on Islam is simply not fair and a gross generalization.

Countries like Nigeria and Kenya tjat have wayyyyy more diversity than us are doing astronomically better. Our problem is quite clearly a mix of our interpretation of islam, our tribalistic mindset, and lack of common sense.

Well, if u don't use your logic, ie your head, you tend to use your other organ ie the heart, and that's where emotions creep in!



On the bright side, what I love about the Somalis is--ignorance is bliss. Pure, uninterrupted imaan! Some times too much logic is creepling. It makes u prone to disbelieve like people such as Xplaya, D-Biyo, and Xildiid. All good people,but or same person, but ---they have that blindness on them that Quran talks of in the disbelievers. The blindness is the actual self deception through over thinking!

The function of believing is to suspend your logic, and believe in your heart. The heart takes precedent in religion more than the head. The head takes precedent in earthly usage. That's why in hadith, the prophet Muhammad pbuh heart as a child was cleaned by the angel Jibril. It happened two times. That cleanness was necessary for the formation of our prophet. But an ideal situation will be balancing between head and heart. That is where Allaah swt lives.

Agreed but its more than just a lack of logic but also a lack of intelligence. Easily our people are some of the dumbest people on the planet and the fact that they are emotional on top of that makes it worse.
