True. We have to admit we have a problem and it's time to declare SL a khat-induced region.

Here is why I am declaring that more than anyone including enemies of SL who love labelling SL every name under the sun:

A) these khat traders ran over at least 4 people and no body stopped to help them let alone bring the khat traders to justice. All this while crying about innocent Oromo fleeing prosecutions. They were quick to kill two Oromo in a cold blooded murders.

B) for more than 3 years SL suffered one of the worst droughts and until now traders have not tried to meet the needs of these people but they were quick to import lhat by planes within minutes.

This shows you how drugged our people are. They did nothing for threes years about wheat, rice and other commodities but can fulfill khat market within minutes leaving no stone unturned.

Any Lander who says otherwise is obviously delusional.

Time to face it and call spade a spade.

Look how quick they can get khat and chase each others over running anything on their way.

The Oromos killed 50 unarmed Somali traders. Oromos also have a history of attacking minority Somali clans forcing them to assimilate to the Oromo confederacy.

The gudhuus that you love so much are not innocent. I just hope Somalis deport these people and ban them for entering Somali territory. When they try to enter they should be shot on sight. That was the policy of the SNM when they controlled Somaliland from 1991-1993 before the first civilian government.

Oromo are not the problem. Our people are emotionally unstable. I am talking about Somalis in general. Honestly we need pychiatric hospitals to address Somali mental state at national levels. They are very impulsive, unstable and irrational.

You guys need to control yourselves. Killing Oromo fleeing from Tigrais and puppets will not improve your economy nor make you stop chewing khat 24/7.

Oromo come to do jobs that you either too lazy to do or to 'honorable' to do it.

Oromo also grow the khat for you. They basically do every job for you except focking your wives for you.

SL can grow khat but they won't because they want to sleep from 9pm-9am, chew khat from 10am to 8pm.

You're also misinformed Xildid. SNM didn't kill no Oromo. The biggest arms suppliers of SNM were none other than Oromo under Mengistu Haile Mariam.

SNM was fighting Obbo-Somali, the Siad Barre brain-washed terrorists, who were Oromo one minute and Darood next. Even real Oromo were combating them since they tried to annex Oromo land for Siad Barre. Please educate yourself a little.

80% of the top generals and arms authorisers under Mengistu were Oromo.

Khat is a water consuming plant, it destroyed the groundwater table of neighboring Yemen. The people of Somaliland should not plant Khat and it should be banned completely.

Oromos are a problem. They encroach and steal other people's land. They forcefully assimilate other ethnic groups and clans. Over the course of history they have assimilated well known ethnic groups like the Sidama, Hadiya etc. Now they're doing the same thing to small Somali clans living on the border between the Somali kilil and the Oromo kilil.

The SNM bought weapons with money sent from the Isaaq diaspora. The Oromo/Nilotic Mengistu didn't provide anything. There was a high ranking Isaaq officer in the Derg regime, originally from Harar, that facilitated everything from the military base in Dir Dhaba, to humanitarian aid to Isaaq refugees. He also made sure that the refugee camps were set up in Isaaq territory like Harta Sheikh, Daroor, Kaam Abokor.

The SNM under the leadership of Tuur forbade Oromos to live in Somaliland. The ones living in Somaliland were deported and I believe we should deport every single one today. The Habeshas should also be deported.

Unarmed people have been killed so it's natural for people to react the way they did, people died although they were khat traders they had families. it's not irrational for people to react the way they did, it's natural. is it right to kill innocent oromos for the actions of what others did who fall under the same ethnicity? the answer is no.

as xildiid already stated, deport the lot of them. they can fk off to their lands.

I personally have zero sympathy for khat traders and care less if they had families. The reason is simple. They destroyed hundreds of thousands of families. What makes their stinky families more special?

No one is saying their families are different nor special but my point was the killings that happened had a direct relationship to that. I heard the soldier who killed the 2 oromos and injuring the other had his brother killed by them.

you can kill as many khat traders and they will be replaced by others, hence why it's a bad practice. I would love to see the government start implementing some sort of laws regarding this toxic drug that's literally rendering our people useless.
