Abaarso School of Science and Technology launches Barwaaqo University

Abaarso School of Science and Technology is launching Barwaaqo University (BU), the first all women's boarding university in Somaliland. The university will start registering its first class of all female students this September for the 2017-2018 school year (Insha Allah). As with Abaarso School, Barwaaqo will have an internationally educated teaching staff, including Abaarso alumni that are currently finishing university studies abroad. The university's first year is limited to 50 spots and significant financial assistance will be available to talented and needy students.



If the incredible success of Abaarso is anything to go by, Barwaaqo University will blow all 30 other universities in Somaliland out of the water.

Wallahi I'm proud of SL. We have award winning school like Abaarso . The only schools in Zoomalia are school for Al Kebab foot soldier

Studies have shown students study better and excel in single-gender schools. Such schools also comply with the teachings of Islam.

When a women is educated she teaches a community. If you want the next generation to be educated first girls need to be educated

Huuno why not educate both girls and boys at same time and together in compliance with Islam?

Isn't true that an illiterate man is and would a burden to his educated sister?

And another thing for a next generation to exist to come to being a boy must meet and be accepted by a girl - assuming girls are educated ahead of boys and boys left behind and illiterate, what kind of educated girl would accept a jaahil to procreate with?

So huuno you see for a bright and brighter future boys and girls must be like SIDA LABADA GARAB....Together at every stage..... be Learned together or geeljire life together!
