Ethiopia Says Somaliland Displaced Thousands of Oromo People
Ethiopia accused a semi-autonomous territory in neighboring Somalia of illegally displacing more than 3,000 long-term Oromo residents in the wake of clashes on the boundary between two of Ethiopia’s regional states.
The northern territory of Somaliland displaced the Oromos, who belong to Ethiopia’s largest ethnic group and are now sheltering in Ethiopia’s Oromia and Somali regional states, Information Minister Negeri Lencho told reporters Monday in the capital, Addis Ababa. He said the eastern part of Oromia experienced “bloody conflict” in the border clashes earlier this month and described Oromos as having been “targeted” there, in Ethiopia’s Somali region and in Somaliland, without elaborating.
He said fighting that occurred in the Ethiopian regions of Oromia and Somali this month has left “hundreds” of people dead and resulted in “tens of thousands” fleeing their homes, although the federal government will give exact figures after an investigation. Somaliland Foreign Minister Saad Ali Shire said by email that he has instructed his staff to report to him on the matter and he needed the facts before he could comment.

Re: Ethiopia Says Somaliland Displaced Thousands of Oromo People
This is a false report engineered by the short-legged Tigrais Junta regime.
Who displaced and chased the Oromo from their homelands first? Why are these Tigrais pretending to care for Oromo?
We all know they are trying to pin Oromo against Somalis and thus far thanks to cool headed Somalis like the Landers, the TPLF plan failed.
No Oromo is displaced in Somaliland and they going about their business. SL is a land of law and the law looks everyone equally with the same lens unlike the Tigrai Junta who turned Ethiopia into a mafia state where law is unknown.
The law is always first because humanity is designed by God to work under His law. Before man God created laws for the universe. Laws for the planetary, and all that is in within the universe and how each planet has relationship with the other and their paths.
So in the same manner, Landers have to put the law before emotions, before tola'yey, before "them vs us", before fear, before ignorance and before "bila dhiig this and that'.
Because once you disrespect your own law, you are pretty much a dead man. Useless to the world. Useless to SL. Your kids.
Once we stomp own our values, principles and laws----we become losers and worse than animals. We can't give up all that over 30 khat traders poisoning our society because they have no respect for any law including that one that forbids Muslims to engage in such business. They are useless to us.
And this is what I stand for and if standing for SL law makes me Oromo than I am 110% Oromo.

I think you'd be calling genocide on the Walaweyn if 42 Somalilanders were murdered in Xamar during a business trip. But when it comes to your beloved Xabashis, you cite 'law and order' as you desperately try to justify and downplay the massacre in Hawaday, claiming the poor people who were macheted to death were 'subhuman khat traders'.AwRastaale wrote: Tue Sep 26, 2017 4:32 am This is a false report engineered by the short-legged Tigrais Junta regime.

Re: Ethiopia Says Somaliland Displaced Thousands of Oromo People
TPLF is playing a very dirty politic that will cause the stability of Ethiopia.
The people of sl is aware of it and dogged a possible attack on innocent oromo people that could lead to a massacre, that is why tplf is blaming sl for deporting oromos
Why aren't they also blaming ddsi as they were the ones who took the oromos from wajaale to their oromia state?
Awrastaale is on point but also needs to condemn the horrific incident that happened in hawaday.

AR in many comments expressed his happiness with the murder of those people in Hawaday. He has advocated for more such horrific incidents.OAF wrote: Tue Sep 26, 2017 7:59 am Awrastaale is on point but also needs to condemn the horrific incident that happened in hawaday.

He said the truth about what the TPLF are doing, they are taking the last gasp as oromos are protesting and demanding their rights after being under oppression since menilik times.paperino wrote: Tue Sep 26, 2017 8:13 amAR in many comments expressed his happiness with the murder of those people in Hawaday. So by that TPLF are trying to turn the oromo face from his sight and over to somalis by the hawaday incident and also the deportation of oromos in the somali peninsula, THE TPLF ARE ALSO BEHIND THE DEPORTATION AND VIOLENCE BY SOMALIS ON OROMOS, just take a look at this report..
We all know how TPLF controls the somali politics.

The victims, khat merchants and their families, were murdered in their sleep, and hail from Waqooyi Galbeed.

Re: Ethiopia Says Somaliland Displaced Thousands of Oromo People
Oromo are no problem to SL but Wanlawein is like the murtadeen. You can never side with evil because evil and good can come from the same womb.
If I wanted to avenge for the drug dealers then I would pursue those responsible for it and there is no evidence they were even Oromo same way we have no evidence that ao called "Muslim terrorists" are even Muslims.
The killers could be Liyu Police disguised as Oromo mob.
Don't be emotional.
SL cause is not denied by Oromo but the Wanlawein murtadeen.
Be faithful.
