Somalia has been a hell hole for 27 years now. If they can't get their act together within the next 5 years I say SL does what SNM should have done in 91, March to Mogadishu and kick out amisom and replace it with our own security forces seeing as SL is the only Somali region that actually knows how to fight and repel and discourage terrorism I say we go help our brothers in the South. Also SL security forces could oversee a real democratic election in Somalia ; not the sham of elections they've been having

Having amisom there is a joke , how will locals be encouraged to communicate with security soldiers and give tips to them about terrorist whereabouts / activities when they dont even speak the same language? Strong community support against Shabaab is key in the fight against them. The community isn't helping AMISOM so I say we get Somali Security Forces in there.

Exactly. We would be doing them a favour. Who would they rather have, AMISOM or a SL task force?

Or SL, Djibouti and PL could create an alliance. PL gets the presidency and Garowe as the new capital, Djibouti gets exclusive fishing rights for 200KM and SL gets independence. South Somalia gets peace, eradication of Alshabab and good governance. Everyone's happy.
