They hate Isaaq because we karbashed SNA and armed the USC which karbashed Siad in the south. And then we said fuck all you guys after USC went back on its deal with SNM and stole power for themselves. We don't want anything to do with that circus and we get hate for it. You still see a lot of doofarood crying for the days of Shaytaan Siad , so naturally everyone who had a massive hand in his fall still gets hate. Plus Isaaq get money unlike the other bums
MJ gets hate for playing both sides PL and Somalia one minute it is "we are one with Somalia " the next minute it's "we're independent fuck you guys"
At least Isaaq had the nerve to tell Somalia straight up what it is and we don't play both sides. If I was Somalia I would not want to have a friend like PL

Cutting ties is declaring independence. Wtf you think it is ? It's just Puntland too pvssy to fully claim it so they say some dumb shit like "yeah we will rejoin when the coast is clear "DalJecel60 wrote: Wed Nov 08, 2017 2:38 pmPuntland cut ties with the FG but never declared independence. bring factsZoomalia4Kucks wrote: Wed Nov 08, 2017 12:56 pm They hate Isaaq because we karbashed SNA and armed the USC which karbashed Siad in the south. If a government has no ties with a region in it's country it's an independent autonomous region. Basically one day PL wants to go full independence , the next day they just want to stay autonomous region, the day after that they want to rejoin somalia . Can't make up their minds / can't trust these folks

It's human nature. This sort of attitude among ethnic or tribal groups exists in almost every country, e.g. Northern Italians (Milan) call Southerners (Sicily) nigg.rs and don't even consider them to be Italians. Nevertheless, they are citizens of one country. So, there is no need to overemphasize it.

Somalia can only truly prosper if it's united. Ethiopia's population is already 102 millons and growing. Kenya is exploding too. What chances fragmented Somalia has against them? Either Somalis unite and stand strong, or become voiceless proxies and be treated like Oromas in Ethiopia.
Hopefully, common sense will prevail in Puntland and Somaliland.

You mean in Puntland. Somaliland is not looking back we can forgive but we don't forget , also somaliland is partners with Ethiopia now because of UAE Port Deal. SL's relation ship with Ethiopia is different than Somalia's relationship with Ethiopia. With SL it's about money and Infrastructure projectsAyubD wrote: Wed Nov 08, 2017 3:40 pm.DalJecel60 wrote: Wed Nov 08, 2017 7:24 am I've seen alot of resentment towards Majeerteen and Isaaq.

Ethiopia's relationship with Somalia seems to be one based off of hate , but as much as ethiopia hates you guys they can't stand by as their neighbor turns into lawless wasteland for extremists. Somalia/Ethiopia relationship is about security , while SL / Ethiopia relationship is about economy

First, I wish people would stop referring to Somaliland as if it is not part of Somalia. No matter how you slice it, Somaliland is not internationally recognized entity. Second, I still can't believe Ethiopian government are such beta losers to agree to become landlocked when parting with Eritrea. International power brokers played them for a fool.
I am getting more and more disillusioned with Farmajo. He seems to be quick to appease Addis Ababa, but fails to persuade Ethiopia to deal through central government in Mogadishu when it comes to international cooperation.
There should be consensus among all power players in Somalia before unification. The stubborn ones can be bought out as it has happened in Afghanistan where one of the powerful warlords, Rabbani, was paid millions and relocated to Sharjah to let reconciliation move forward. Hopefully, Somalia will soon have a capable army and be able to secure Somali borders from Djibouti to Kenya. For all that to happen Somalia needs a true leader who can capture people's minds and slowly bring the pride of unity back. All corrupt "old school" local leaders need to be phased out, and new blood allowed to pour in from young educated Somalis and diaspora. Self-governance experience in Somaliland and Puntland should be preserved in the form of regional governments within united Somalia.
Farmajo should pressure Turkey to properly set up and modernize Somali army and pay soldiers decent salaries for a decade or so till Somalia can stand on its feet. It shouldn't be much for Turkey since they gave away over $6 billion just in humanitarian aid in 2016. I believe as long as Erdogan is in power, Turkey can be convinced to agree to such plan.It all depends on what is really going on in Farmajo and Khayre's heads. Patriotism or pocket-filling? Can they effectively engage Turkey into next-level cooperation?
Once these political developments take place, big infrastructure projects can be realized.
My 2 cents

No matter how you slice it reer SL calls their own shots with no input from Failmaajo or Somalia. With or without recognition that will never change . There will never be a reunification with Somalia , keep dreaming.AyubD wrote: Wed Nov 08, 2017 6:56 pm.Zoomalia4Kucks wrote: Wed Nov 08, 2017 4:38 pm You mean in Puntland. No need to dream. All what is needed for unification to happen is hard work building consensus and creating strong Somali army. Nobody in international community will object to Somali army movements within internationally recognized borders of Somalia. Recent events in Iraq serve as a good example.
