It's a good initiative, though i would have thought it made more sense to connect Taleex to Boosaaso via Qardho. The distance between Taleex - Garoowe and Taleex- Qardho is roughly equidistant.

You are absolutely right, Qardho and Taleex would have have been more useful, but terrain and cost may have played a role in the decision.

The road will leave Talex - Xalin and head due east till it hits the main highway at Yaka south of Qardo ......not go cross country till reaching Garowe.
