Even in the early 1900s, the oromo-somali border was not demarcated
''As a geographical term Galla/Oromo-land is now used mainly to denote the south-central regions of the Abyssinian empire, the country in which the Galla/Oromo are numerically strongest. There is no sharp dividing line between the territory occupied respectively by the Galla/Oromo and by the Somalis.
In any case the Galla/Oromos must be regarded as members of that vast eastern Hamitic family which includes their neighbors, the Somalis, the Afars and the Abyssinian's. As in all the eastern Hamites, there is a perceptible strain of Negro blood in the Galla/Oromo, who are, however, described by Sir Frederick Lugard as a ''wonderfully handsome race, with high foreheads, brown skins, and soft wavy hair quite different from the wool of the Bantus.'' As a rule their features are quite European. Their color is dark brown, but many of the northern gallas/oromos are of a coffee and milk tint. The finest men are to be found among the Limmu and Gudru on the river Abay..''

Re: Even in the early 1900s, the oromo-somali border was not demarcated
Indirectly you are telling us that you are after Somali lands and our country.
Re: Even in the early 1900s, the oromo-somali border was not demarcated
Keep your propaganda shit for yourself, here your people are confessing day and night that whole Somalia from north to south is Oromo.
Re: Even in the early 1900s, the oromo-somali border was not demarcated
Busted! I wrote countless times about the real agenda Of Oromos toward Somali territories. They have been taught at young age that there's Oromo lost lands somewhere in Somalia.

Soomaalina waxay ka dhamaanlaaday, 'my awoowo was a better camel-thief than your awoowo'.

You guys are retarded idiots.
Where did it say Oromos claim land in Somalia?
WTF
It says the borders aren't defined.... That's a fact and still is a fact.... This is to show the issue is older than all of us...

I'd much prefer the whole Horn of Africa region be federated, with free movement of goods and peoples.
Then it wouldn't matter where you lived.....you'd still be Oromo/ Somali etc.
By trying to draw borders between peoples will result in a Pakistan/India scenario.

A Somali sister tells here “ how Oromo child in hargeisa had told that Somalis came to this land as immigrants and will leave as immigrants and land will be Oromo”zidane88 wrote: Fri Dec 29, 2017 3:24 am Busted! Wrong comparisons we are like Israel and Palestine. Pakistan/India were one country in the past unlike us. For example greater Somalia was like Palestine and whole of Horn Africa was grater Somalia till Europeans colonial came and gave away our land to Ethiopians(Oromo/habashi/ jareer Kenya). Oromo and Somalis had aggressive relationships since time of Oromo expansion, even the name Oromo expansion indicates their aggressive nature. Plus we lost small minority clans to them. We can not afford to form any type of confederation with them. They will swallow us(50 millions Oromo and 10 million Somalis) we will end like welsh in UK.original dervish wrote: Fri Dec 29, 2017 6:48 pm I'd much prefer the whole Horn of Africa region be federated, with free movement of goods and peoples.
