Government forces illegally attack another politician house; Senator Cabdi Qeybdiid, President Farmajo distances himself

Armed government forces have illegally attacked the house of a politician for the second time this month. Senator Qeybdiid has demanded that those who were responsible for the attack on his home be investigated and brought to justice.

Reports say that Qeydiid's neighbourhood was closed off before the house of Qeybdiid, a Senator with diplomatic immunity, was attacked, property damaged and one of his men injured.

Farmaajo is seeking to distance himself from this attack on the Senator which the President has called illegal.

The way things are deteriorating this begs the question...armed government forces being used to attack politicians, could this be the beginning of a trend? What would this mean for the future of Somalia?
