New Cold War in the Horn of Africa:
• Axises:
(I) Turkey, (II) Qatar, (III) Somalia, & (IV) Sudan.
• Allies:
(I) UAE/ SL, (II) Saudi Arabia, (III) Egypt, & (IV) Eritrea.
This leaves Ethiopia in a special situation. On one side you have the financers of Al Shabab (Qatar) which Ethiopia has been fighting against and have suffered terrorist attacks at the hands of Al Shabab . There's also Mogadishu/Somalia which Ethiopians will always hate,
But on the other side there is 2 of Ethiopias arch enemies in Eritrea & Egypt. From the meetings UAE - Ethiopia had I think UAE has guaranteed Ethiopias safety and let them know exactly what their plans are. Turkey and Qatar are attempting to start up a Neo Ottoman Empire

Re: UAE backed Egyptian Forces Arrive in Eritrea
"Following coordination with the United Arab Emirates, Egyptian forces arrived in Eritrea today, Al Sharq has reported. The forces are armed with modern technology and heavy armoured vehicles. Sources told Al Sharq that a meeting was convened between the UAE, Egypt and the Sudanese opposition representing groups in Darfur and eastern Sudan. There are no reported military confrontations."

Re: UAE backed Egyptian Forces Arrive in Eritrea
The Arabs are trying to stop the Non-Arab Turks and Iranians from trying to dominate the middle east / Africa
I would have no problem siding with the Turkey of old. Kemal Attaturk built a great nation, today it is ran by a horrible leader named Erdogan that wants to be dictator. Under Erdogan Turkey has been drifting away from it's Secular status and seems to be on it's way towards more radical Islam under Erdogan. The Turkish education system has been decimated by Erdogan.
And I can never side with the financers of Al Shabab aka Turkeys sidekick Qatar. So my allegiance lies with the Arabs unfortunately.

No kidding this habesha snake, AbdiCushite aka Zoomalia4Kucks, will twist truth to a laughable scale as if we can't see what he is doing.
By the way, Erdogan was democratically elected. Can't say the same about leaders of Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt.
Let's not forget citizens of which country conducted 9/11 attack. It's Saudi Arabia. UAE and Saudis are the ones funneling money to terrorists.
The reason habeshas pick on Turkey so much because Turks are helping Somalis. It is really messing up the habesha plans to disintegrate Somalia.
Saudi Arabia is said to be the world's largest source of funds and promoter of Salafist jihadism,[109] which forms the ideological basis of terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda, Taliban, ISIS and others. In a December 2009 diplomatic cable to U.S. State Department staff (made public in the diplomatic cable leaks the following year), U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton urged U.S. diplomats to increase efforts to block money from Gulf Arab states from going to terrorists in Pakistan and Afghanistan, writing that "Donors in Saudi Arabia constitute the most significant source of funding to Sunni terrorist groups worldwide" and that "More needs to be done since Saudi Arabia remains a critical financial support base for al-Qaida, the Taliban, LeT and other terrorist groups."[46] An August 2009 State Department cable also said that the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, which carried out the 2008 Mumbai attacks, used a Saudi-based front company to fund its activities in 2005.
United Arab Emirates is listed as sources of militant money in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Taliban and their militant partners the Haqqani network earn "significant funds" through UAE-based businesses

Qatar financing of Al Shabab
The United States accused its close ally Qatar of funding the Al-Shabab militia in Somalia, newly released diplomatic cables reveal.
The extraordinary claim was made in a 26 October 2009 meeting between Ambassador Susan Rice, the US Permanent Representative to the United Nations and her Turkish counterpart Ambassador Ertugul Apakan. A US diplomatic cable of minutes of the meeting was leaked by Wikileaks on 24 August.
This accusation – if true – means that the United States and Qatar have been funding and arming opposing sides in Somalia’s bloody civil war, which has undoubtedly exacerbated the catastrophic famine that is gripping the country. Qatar, the cables show, strenuously denied the accusation.
The cables also shed more light on the extent to which the United States is involved in proxy wars in the Horn of Africa.
Qatar “funding insurgents”
According to the cable:
Apakan said that Turkey wanted to be helpful in Somalia and agreed with the U.S. approach of continuing broad-based support for the Transitional Federal Government. Ambassador Rice expressed concerns about Qatar’s role in funding insurgents through Eritrea who were operating in Somalia, and suggested that Turkey could be helpful by weighing in with Qatar.
The cable does not provide any more detail about why the Qataris might have been supporting Al Shabab, nor the nature of the American intelligence on which Rice was basing her statements.

Re: UAE backed Egyptian Forces Arrive in Eritrea
And now Turkey is going down path of Islamic extremism
" Turkey's schools have begun the new academic year with a controversial curriculum that leaves out the theory of evolution and brings in the concept of jihad.
For Turkey's Islamist-rooted government, the idea is for a new "education of values".
Critics have denounced new textbooks as "sexist" and "anti-scientific", and complain of a major blow to secular education.
"By embedding a jihadist education of values, they try to plague the brains of our little children, with the same understanding that transforms the Middle East into a bloodbath," said Bulent Tezcan of the secular, opposition CHP party.
The education ministry also argues that critics are "utterly ignorant" for claiming that evolution has been completely excluded from the curriculum.
Subjects such as mutation, modification and adaptation are explained in biology textbooks, without citing evolution itself. This theory is "above students' level" and should be taught in universities, says the minister.
This will only confuse students, says Aysel Madra from Turkey's Education Reform Initiative, who finds it odd to posit that children can understand jihad but not evolution."
