Farmaajo first Somali President since Siyaad Barre

Post by Adali »

who has managed to go from city to city without taking a plane, he started off in Garowe, went to Qardho, Gaalkacyo, Gelinsoor, Cadaado, Dhusomareb, he will end his trip in Caabudwaaq his clan hometown. :som: :stylin:

Siyaad Barre the lion of Africa did similar thing, started from Djibouti to Mogadishu, no other Somali president except for these two has done this, and it has united Somali people.

Not something difficult to do considering those areas are mostly peaceful and free of any militant activity, it can be done by any person, provided they have the means, in addition, he was heavily guarded. its just a matter of deciding whether to do it or not. Hassan Sheikh on occasions travelled by land in the south, through alshabab territory, lets see farmaajo replicate that.

Siyaad Barre was not a lion, he was a tragedy that struck Somalia just like the misfortune of Gadaffi on Libya, the reason he is remembered fondly is partly due the fact that what followed his departure from power was worse than the actual brutal tyrannical rule he presided over. If Siyaad was successfully disposed and no civil war followed after he was exiled, I think people would have remembered him a little bit more differently.

He squandered Somalia's potential and his actions heavily contributed or should I say caused the epic collapse

Somalia has no government in the moment so how can he be the first president since Siyaad ? Farmajoo has no army no budget no income no paid civil servants and most importantly does not control the country he claims to be a president of even his visit to puntland only happened because the local bantustan allowed it otherwise they military control their area the same with the nextdoor bantustan called Somaliland

How come he DIDN'T go to Laas Caanood, his own Darood clan's city ( and I'm sure that he has NO PLANS to visiting anytime soon) or did he think that the city is not worth visiting OR does he believe that Laas Caanood is NOT Part of Federal Republic of Somalia just like Godey, and Jigjiga???!!!!!

My grandfather said that in Somali modern history there are 2 Mohamed that had left their prints in Somali history first Mohamed was Maxamed Cabdille Xasan the leader of dervish state, second Mohamed president Maxamed Siyaad Barre, and farmaajo (Maxamed Cabdulaahi Maxamed ) will be the third Mohamed that will change Somalia to better.

He is boon marehan but he is not that stupid to visit Las Anod. That would be akin handing himself to Somaliland and requesting a speedy transfer to enjoy orange juice in Mandheera prison

Actually come to think of it, it would not be bad idea at all, we already had a boon marehan locked up not that long ago.

Both Sayid Siigayste and Afweyne were chased by Duriyada and fled their land like rats to die a horrible death on the run, alone, old and humiliated.

Going by what your grandfather just said, the future is not looking all that good for the cheesemonger it seems..

yup we are witnessing historical moments live. Just 27 years ago we had a massive civil war, places like Caabudwaaq was under constant siege the capital was a blood bath, today SFG president is Marehan, and Caabudwaaq is largest city in Galmudug.

Huuno have I said something that upset you? ....I just commented by asking you questions that I believe are relevant to this thread you've made. And since you made the claim that Farmaajo is the first president "who has managed to go from city to city without taking a plane....." and mentioned the cities he had visited and the ones he plans to visit, why are you so mad about if I asked about the 'white elephant' in the thread or in the room as the saying goes? (The 'white elephant ' is Laas Caanood in this scenario...In case you wonder ).

My apologies if I disturbed you from your make-believes.

P.s. as for "calaacaling..." , today I have nothing to calaacal about thank you very much!...I am free to roam every where in this jungle called Snet.

Good times in head of us Somalis, our oil and reasonable population will make us middle class country (like Angola ) our agriculture land, fishing towns and soon our national army will replace Amisom. Toss to “good times in head of us”

We all are going to die one day or other but what type of legacy that we left behind us!!!!
Siad Barre and Sayyid have left to us great legacy like it or not. Uptill today you can not move on on them, most Somalis are obsessed about them unlike men like silanyo and co who nobody will remember them.
