It is old bill. From past 10 years our neighbor(Ethiopia) was pushing for this bill which denies the citizenship based on the ethnicity Somali. They made town halls with Somalis in diaspora to test it on them.
All they want to give Oromo illegal immigrants the Somali citizenship and denies the Somalis in Somali peninsula their mainland (Somalia). Plz don’t approve this bill. We have illegal aliens from Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya living now in Somalia from kismayo to hargeisa.

The bill is Trojan horse to allow illegal immigrants (Oromo and Kenyan) the Somali citizenship, it has nothing to do with greater Somalia but just allowing millions of Oromo and Kenyans to our citizenship and marginalize Somalis in Somalia like in Ogadenia and NFD

What is Ex oromo, it is against our religion to denounce our heritage our last name. So this ex oromo nonsense is pure anti-islam, anti-Somali, kick them out ASAP from Zeylac to Raskambooni should be pure Somali.

I have no issue with Somalis who marry oromo, as long as the father is Somali he can marry what he wants his children can apply for Somali citizenship, but in this case you have 100% oromo illegal migrants storming our country, it is unacceptable.

So Adan law,MSB should be stripped off their recognition? Because from what you are saying they illegally acquired somalia citizenship and their contribution should be marked as Ethiopian moles in Somalia.
Also till today there has been no agreed border demarcation between South Somalia and Ethiopia so practically Galgaduud is a disputed territory.

If you were born prior to independence you are exempt from this rule of course, how does it make sense to exclude people from a nation when they are older than the nation and took part in building it ?

Use common sense, and you only mentioned two Mareexaan leaders, but the reality is many Somali leaders of their generation were from outside the borders established in 1961.

I dont know about the new bill but u understood that tweet correctly. you know who they are targeting when they talk about somali citenship? soma aha lol

I don’t trust the Somalis in Ethiopia and Kenya. A lot of them are Oromo and Boraan. If we give them citizenship, they will move to Somalia and will soon overpopulate us.
