His been asked a number of times in interviews whether there are any issues with the prime minister, but thabit respectfully said there were no issues.

The position of the Gov of Benadir should be an elected one. This will remove much of the tension and lack of accountability. Right know, Thabit is another minister that administers mogadishu.

I have always found it odd how the locals in Mogadishu and their tribal leaders threaten chaos and war, do they not know such an outcome will primarily affect them. What kind of societ threatens chaos at every political impasse that comes a long?
