Roads in Somaliland should be primary concern

ASC, So this Summer i wen't back to Hargeisa, first time back since 04. Maybe i was just being niave, but i was expecting straight roads. As soon as we leave the airport the car was bouncing like the car is on suspension. This was the biggest disappointment for me, i could not believe almost 15 years later roads are still trash. My thing is if the British have roads that still are being used in SL from decades ago, how can we not build our own roads that well? Honestly most of you probably can acknowledge the importance roads are to our economical development..Anyone know what their doing about it?

Berbera seems to be ok but Hargeisa is the problem. We need to make more paved roads and also in the centre we need more parking places. The people parked alongside the road which makes the road much smaller.

Do you guys even realise how much it costs to make a few 100 meters of tarmac road?
