The UAE back separatist are fighting the Saudi back Hadi forces. Last month we had infighting between the Houthi and Saleh forces. Now it is infecting the other side. Yemen is a mess. I don't see how the Saudis are going to get out of this mess. So much internal fighting. I am not surprised though. The UAE has given up fighting the Houthis. They see fighting in North Yemen as pointless. They would rather back a South Yemen with ports that could become a UAE vassal state. Iran is probably laughing at all this.AbdiCushite wrote: Sun Jan 28, 2018 3:59 pm Great. We need to secure the rest of Yemen from Iranian/Turkish influence. Hadi has been hiding in Saudi Arabia when we need him out there rallying the troops. We can't lose Yemen to the Iranians / Turks . It's better to split Yemen back into North Yemen and South Yemen. The country of Yemen was created in 1990 and failed already. We need UAE to control South Yemen so the Houthis / Iranians cant launch attacks against Somalia / SL, and Iranian ships can't come and steal our fish and dump toxins in our waters.
If you think Saudi and UAE are against each other you are mistaken. The situation is clear that a united Yemen is not a possibility. Hadi wants a united Yemen. Saudi just wants to counter Iranian influence. Instead of spending billions chasing a dream of a united Yemen, and Saudi/UAE getting increased bad press for the mass bombings they would rather cut their loses and take control of South Yemen to keep the 2 sides divided forever. Saudi is simply kicking Hadi to the curb while holding him prisoner in Saudi Arabia like they tried to do with Lebanon PM. Saudi already borders Yemen to the North. If they control South Yemen fully can keep those in North Yemen as slaves like the Jews do with Gaza . And then maybe one day they can recapture North Yemen and unite them again under Saudi friendly government. Only way Hadi gets through this alive is if he bows to the saudi / UAE pressure to stay loyalFAH1223 wrote: Sun Jan 28, 2018 4:27 pmThe UAE back separatist are fighting the Saudi back Hadi forces.
