Siad Barre's Hatred of Borama 1984

Post by Prlnce »

On January 30 1984, 34 years ago this week Ethiopian planes indiscriminately attacked school children at their homes and schools. In total, there were 37 dead children in the age group between 6 and 14 years old. As well as 4 dead teachers, 5 injured teachers and 39 injured children.

Ethiopia justified this cowardly act as punishment for Ogaden terrorist that would sabotage railway lines. Each time the terrorist attacked soft targets in Ethiopia. Ethiopians would respond by punishing reer Borama because of their close proximity to Ethiopia. This became a vicious cycle callous Ogaden terrorist attack Ethiopia knowing reer Borama would die and sadistic Ethiopians responding with collective punishment.

Siad Barre's impotent Kacaan government turned a blind eye as they ignored the slaughter of their own people and exposed hatred of reer Awdal. This wasn't the only incident all throughout the 1970s and '80s Ethiopia attacked the region on multiple occasions. And the impotent tribalist government didn't respond didn't fight back and failed to protect the citizens of Borama.

Afweyne was a big lipped beast with a single digit IQ.
A former Italian Zaptie that was lionized by the Sovietunion and when they abandoned him we saw what happened.. long story short.. he ended up dead in a Nigerian toilet molested by thugs.

This incident is crazy because the illegal Kacaan regime claimed they had anti aircraft missiles and radars in Borama. The Ethiopians called their bluff and after that they started attacking Borama killing thousands of innocent civilians.

Yet Reer Borama were his most loyal allies who went above and beyond to help quell the SNM uprising. Whatever happened in 1984 was long forgotten just two years later

Ethiopia bombed Borama yet you put Siad Barres name in the title? You are just using these people deaths for your own hatred. You are special kind of scum.

Prince no matter what you say Barre will be a sanctified Saint to the darod, free from sin, destined to go to janna. These people worship their leaders like Congolese pygmies.

What was the second armed clash in 1988? If I remember correctly, both foreign ministers signed an agreement to seal off their borders from rebels, I know you're trying to call the SNM Ethiopians, Ururka wadaniga somaliyeed, they were forced to fight within the borders and they destroyed your filthy kufar socialist army.

Strange how this person would describe resistance by the Ogadenis as "terrorism" and attempt to ascribe responsibility for Ethiopian war crimes to MSB (aun). However, he has nothing to say about the atrocities committed by the terrorist snm in Borama & Dilla.

Am I reading this right?

So u blame siyaad barre for xabashi killing Somali children because the xabash were justified for attacking the city cus ogaadeen fighters were attacking the xabashi. The same xabashi u consider brothers today.

U can’t make this up

It was filthy Caghdeer WSLF attacking Ethiopia and then hiding amongst civilians in Awdal like the cowards they were.

The big lipped beast afweyne was obliged to but didn’t protect the citizens of Awdal because they were Dir and not Dofaar Ismaciil.

Dofaarood rat, it was Isaaq soldiers that liberated your weak, degenerate Dofaar kin.

Most of the SNM mujahids were 77/78 war veterans that took a lions share in that war and liberated crucial districts unlike the Dofaar Ismaciil sewage rats.
Col. Askar, later on a Mujahid of the SNM, was nicknamed the lion of Godey for his swift defeat of Ethiopian troops and his capture of Godey.

Col Ali Hussein (of Shekh-Togdheer region) was the commanding officer and the front leader of the Qabri-Dahare front. The Colonel was a highly respected officer, well liked and mild mannered gentleman, he is known to have been the type who minds his business. Just like many other officers, Col Ali Hussein was not a political loyalist but a professional officer

On July 23rd.
Col Ali Hussein and his deputies planned a double edged, multilayered attack plan consisting of heavy uninterrupted 48-hours of bombardment and immediate forced entry of ground troops aided by tanks and armored vehicles. In essence, Qabri-Dahare was liberated in
two days of sustained attacks and coincidently Qabri-Dahare’s fall was just few hours after Godey’s fall in Somali hands.
Wardheer was liberated by Col. muj. Cabdulqaadir Kosaar, the man who created SNM’s military wing and former chairman the African liberation committee created by OAU. :win:

Muj. Col Kosaar

These men and thousands of other mujahids cleansed Faqash filth from SL. :win:
Rebel militiamen belonging to the Somali National Movement, fighting the regime of dictator Mohamed Siad Barre, load an anti-aircraft twins cannon near the town of Zeila, northern Somalia in October 1989. Barre's regime was overthrown in January 1991.

Where was Afweyne?

Why didn’t he protect the people of Awdal since he claimed to be their “president”?

Where was the big lipped Boon when the actions of a terrorist group he funded caused problems for the people of Awdal?

Btw, Xaarmaajo called Ethiopia his brothers less 1-2 months ago. Don’t throw stones when you live in a glass house yaa Boon.

The main thing this poster forgot is that gadabuursi was part of the very group hes calling ''ogaden terrorist'', WSLF had various galbeed clans minus idoors.

Question is, why is this idoor claiming to be gadabuursi and at other times claims to be an cidagale?

Ethiopia is not and will never be a “brother”, we all know they control most Somali leaders today (including sland) who are summoned at a drop of a dime. Soft politics has to be played at this fragile stage or else the habashi lapdogs can do real damage internally.

Anyways said barre government was far from perfect, I’d be the first one to criticize the regime if there was an honest dialogue and not selective outrage where everyone is the victim free of any wrong doing and the next group/individual/clan is 100% responsible for (insert crime).

1980’s was practically the beginning of 1991, rebel groups forming and attacking the government, high ranking officials deserting their posts. People around MSB abusing the power to further division and flaming tribal amnisoty in an already divided nation. There was no way to fully respond to the borame attack and at the same time deal with the rebels.

She's talking about when SNM with the backing of ethiopia, entered gadabuursi lands and started mass killing them for supporting barre regime, this was the time siad barre was ousted from mogadishu, over 700 gudabuursi died.

The bucur bacayr chief muse biixi was the one leading the army.
