I think it’s going to fail.

My rule is never invest in something where operating cost is over 59%.

I think 80% of their operating cost is on raw materials and in my opinion that’s a red flag.

Horn of does not have reliable grain. All you need is one major drought.

I will pass.

Ilma abusita is part of the company every interesting :ohhh:

But one question where are they going to plant and maintain the gains wadanku waa abaar they want to have 25% of sl wheat sales in year 2. It sounds like a legit investment but with the hardly any rains are they going to be turning that much profit as they expect in year 2/3/4.

Yusuf if you are going to invest 2500 is the minimum I would start with that

In thier website they said they will be getting grains from Canada what’s going to fail is the water supplier wheat needs constant water.
Also I don’t like thier stragey of mills and farm are nowhere near each other the fields are in Hargeysa/gabiley the mill is in berbera. Imo it should be all in one location cut down on cost they don’t have in the first place

They're going to import 100% of the grains from the Ukraine and apparently have an exclusive deal with a Ukrainian farming and export firm and the exclusive Rights that will prohibit this firm to supply any other business or individuals in Somaliland, Somalia and Djibouti during the length of the contract (not specified ).
But they intend to investing in Somaliland farms and grow and buy home grown grains in the long term.

As for the operating costs, it is not unusual for new manufacturing businesses to have high operation costs during their initial periods of starting operations which naturally comes to decrease and come down as soon as the business puts it's stamp on the market sector it operates.

Though I think Boodhari Mills has a great potential to succeed and become a market leader in the supply and distribution of flour in the Somali territories, What put me off of investing in it is the fact that they have over valued the business by valuing it in excess of $10 million and that is way too much for a business that only existed as an idea with no physical assets and experience in this industry - flour distribution and milling. Plus the fact that they want to raise all of the money needed for costs of establishing the business and building the milling plant through the sale of the shares meaning they're putting no money or little money of their own. And that was the red flag for me.

Wax ka ficaan maa jiirto lkn like lodoon said they are not putting capital in to this venture but it seems okish to me too much big names are involved for it to be a pyramid scheme like the last one,
