Sa'ad al-Din (Arabic: سعد الدين‎) also written Saad Eddine or Saadeddine is a historical character what lineage does he come under in the Isaac clan ? Also what oral history do you have to make this claim ?

Geri, Habarmagaadle are mentioned in the Adal era, Ifat came before Adal.

:dj:
Nope Amiir Nuur is Reer Mataan, and this thread isn;t about Adal its about Ifat.

I know many present day Somali clans do not have the abtirsi culture that goes beyond 20 generation, some even lower like 10 generation. Its because present day Somalis have been somilized by the early Somalis of Ifat, the Isaac clan is Ahlu bait they are some of the latest arrivals to the Somali peninsula, bot Darood and Hawiye were present before them.

You need to have abtirsi of +25 to have any relevance in Ifat or Walaashama kingdoms.

He was good in history unfortunately he was half Ethiopian (Tigray)from his mother side.

Isn't Rooble Gedabursi with Mareexaan Rer Abti ? or are you talking about another Rooble ?

Yes Gedabursi has an interesting history, they are the Isaac claim the same tribe Habar Magaadle in Adal, however I am more interested in the Gerri who also have alot of history, Gerri Koombe Kablalax Darood is close in terms of Lineage to Marehan Sade Darood.

Ifat was Habesha and Oromo kingdom that began in Shewa. It was situated near Walaale town in Oromia.

Founded by the Makhzumis it was later taken over by the Walashma dynasty.

It consisted of Habesha, Oromo and Arab migrants.

Snet should pay me but nah I am just interested in Somali history.

Somali history has been suppressed, there are ancient towns in the entire area of former Adal that belonged to former Somali kingdoms that have not been excavated or researched.

The only thing we have that connects us to our history is our oral history, lineage, stories etc and foreign documents. Our identity the Somali identity is based alot on our shared history as Somali people, yet we know so little about it.

That is why people are stuck on colonial history, like SL etc yet they don't know what we were prior to colonial.
