Depends in the Area you want to Rent. There are popular markets where all Somalis do business. In Muqdisho Bakaraha is such market and is expensive to rent a good spot. Other markets are one clan dominated, so they are less expensive to rent a spot.

I don't know about Hargaysa. Markets dominated by single clan are not expensive no matter where they are located in Somalia. Interestingly, this extends to how well a city is doing too. The more Somalis reside and do business in a city, the better is does economically. Even the quality of neighborhoods reflect this in Muqdisho. The more mixed Somalis, the better the neighborhood.
