If the majority want their independence, they deserve it.
You're still all ilma soomal, so.

You can still be at peace as people with multiple states.
It's true that there was a British Somaliand and Italian Somalia, so, history is sort of on your side, at least.
But what if Somalia recovers and makes its economy strong since most of the fertile lands in the south?

Dude Somalia is divided into 5 tribal bantustans.
Puntland majeerteen darod alkhadam.

Southwestern state digil mirirfle.
Jubbaland ogaden darod alkhadam.
City state Mogadishu jawhar arc.
Puntland is independent in all.aspect of has it's own foreign policy army flag it uses federalism pure for power. Somaliawon't be strong there Is no Somalia nationalism it's dead. Walanweyn pretend to be nationalist they wave the blue flag but They work for Turkey qatar Arabs Kenyans Ethiopians. They use Kenyan Ethiopian troops for tribal incursions. Also hawiye and darood hate each other deeply. But they pretend to love each other when they are Somaliland and isaaq. It's It's freaking mess. And then there is the alshabaab factor they are still threat and they are strong.
