Somalia humiliated (UAE, Ethiopia, Berbera)

Post by AwRastaale »

Wanlawein went into over drive this week over the long gone Berbera deal. Thus far they exhausted AMISOM, Arab League, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UN Security Council, Motion 1....25.

But in all they came out defeated, ignored, humiliated and destroying each others (Jawari exit, internal rift srill running high and more to follow Jawari).

The Wanlawein claim they signed the deal despite their AMISOM administration saying otherwise.

They cannot produce any evidence and on top of that no one saw them sign a thing. If a country is signing a deal close to $1 billion shouldn’t they be visible and present? Why they must hide then chase others to block it?

Makes no sense.

SL is the official signatory and will always be.

The UAE minister may say things to appease IC but he knows the truth. Somalia requested a copy of the said contract between them and Hassan Sh Mohamud but they have nothing.

On top of that we saw who signed the tri-agreement; UAE’s DP World, SL foreign minister and Ethiopia’s trade minister.

What kind of country allows others to send their federal/state ministers (in the case of Ethiopia’s trade minister) but doesn’t send their own minister (Somalia)?

Image

It’s time to accept the reality.

Why Somalia allowed another country to invest in “her” port but is no show to sign it? Why they gotto hide like rats? In the real countries when ministers come to sign deals their equal counterparts co-sign it.

Can you imagine Oromia region signing deal with Qatar company and Nigeria’s trade minister?

Another lie busted.

The case is clear.

MOGADISHU (Reuters) - Somalia’s foreign minister said on Friday that Dubai state-owned port operator DP World DPW.DI should reconsider its contract with the breakaway region of Somaliland and work with federal authorities so Somalia’s sovereignty is not violated.

“We are asking DP World to reconsider these agreements [ ],particularly the one in Berbera port since Somaliland is claiming to be a state independent from Somalia,” Ahmed Isse Awad, Somalia’s foreign minister, told Reuters in an interview.

He said DP World’s agreement to develop an economic zone and port in Somaliland’s Berbera “bypassed the legitimate authority” of Somalia, triggering “misunderstanding and disagreement” that remained unresolved.

Somaliland’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) said the deal was not up for discussion.

“The government of Somalila has nothing to do with this agreement,” Ambassador Bashe Awil Omar told Reuters by phone.

Somaliland broke away from Somalia in 1991 and has acted as a de-facto state since then but is not internationally recognized. The UAE’s Dubai government owns DP World.

A DP World spokesman told Reuters that construction in Somaliland and Puntland, another semi-autonomous region of Somalia where a Dubai state-owned company has a separate deal to manage a port, was on schedule and that work would start soon.

“Both Puntland and Somaliland have urged DP World to expedite construction,” the spokesman said. Puntland officials could not be immediately reached for comment.

The comments come amid a diplomatic row between the volatile Horn of Africa nation and the UAE.

Somalia and the UAE have separately said a UAE military training program in Somalia has ended following the seizure of millions of dollars from a UAE plane at Mogadishu airport earlier this month.

The spat is related to the port issue but has escalated amid an increasingly troubled relationship between Gulf states - divided by their own disputes - and fractured Somalia, whose coastline sits close to key shipping routes and across the water from Yemen.

The UAE and Saudi Arabia have strong trading links with and influence in Somalia, but that is offset by the sway of Qatar and its ally Turkey, one of Somalia’s biggest foreign investors.

Meanwhile Wanlawein continues to cry and beg.

I personally love when Somalia is humiliated.

Why did you call me a troll walaal?
I have deep love for my fellow ethnic somalis.

currently regional powers are fighting over somalias resources while we hate on one another. The habeshi tigray jews got vast amount oil fields in ogaden region. The current somali president is selling out to the arabs and cadaans , our sea ocean being overrun by scandinavian fish tanks , Amisom and Al shabab proxy terrorist being funded by CIA. The northern states of somalia such as kuunfur and puuntland are slowly and slowly being exposed to western libearlism through zionist funded charity groups.

Look at how satan wants to divide muslim lands.. First they got Djibouti , then took Ogaden. We somalis were fooled to divide ourselves into nation states. Somalia will become another Afghanistan or a pagan state run by an hierachial system.

Although I agree with your sentiment brother. And true qe do face existential threats to our culture and way of life. The problem lies on the shoulders of koonfur politicians who refeused a different way of doing things to the detriment of somalis as a whole. Somalia the recognized country with its myriad of challenges could have, if mature saw that a recognized somaliland was in their interest to build as brother countries and shape politics of the horn of Africa. Instead it chose to be hard headed and in denial of truth.
