This is a reoccurring problem in Somali politics.....resulting from political fragmentation across the country.
The UAE can now be viewed as a hostile foreign power......sewing discord and disunity.

In the short term Somalia will be vulnerable to the machinations of Uae and the rest.
However, the long term outlook is fair to good.

The Farmaajo govt must accelerate the development of the offshore oil/gas.
We already know the oil is there and can be exploited without setting foot on the Somali mainland.
The revenues generated will free Somalia from the likes of the UAE forever. :som:

The real issue is we can't have multiple governments run by ex warlords the country is fucked for atleast the next decade. Hows a one man one vote gonna work like this?

How's farmaajo any better? He is pretty much their agent, doing their bid when needed. Add him to that list as well.

You need to read the constitution sxb federal states is illegal to make their own independent decisions. Faramajo holds the highest seat in office... Imagine if a US state went off to make foreign deals against their president... that's what we're dealing with
